Now, we move on into Gateway 27, the Gateway known as \u201cNourishing\u201d. How do we nourish ourselves? It\u2019s not just a matter of eating nutritious foods. It\u2019s a matter of our environment, how we choose to spend our time, and the company we keep. It\u2019s also the clothes we wear, the things we read and the movies we watch. It\u2019s all the many things we take in that can enrich and deepen our experience in so many ways. Gate 27 is very focused on looking after ourselves, and since it\u2019s in the Tribal Circuitry, it\u2019s also interested in looking after our community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4GBK480MtNw?si=gCn0Mmo7a4mJU6Tv\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">With that in mind, let\u2019s have a look at the Human Design Life Themes associated with Gateway 27:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The Personal Life Theme: The Unexpected<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-356561\" src=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27P.jpg\" alt=\"Human Design Life Themes - Gate 27\" width=\"396\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27P.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27P-768x829.jpg 768w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27P-1422x1536.jpg 1422w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27P-285x308.jpg 285w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 396px) 100vw, 396px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">With the Conscious Sun in Gate 27, we find ourselves in the Personal Life Theme of \u201cThe Unexpected\u201d. \u201cThe Game Player\u201d.\u00a0 And what\u2019s the game? Life itself! Anything can happen in this life at any time. So, Gateway 28 reminds us to play the game while we can. \u200aWe have to dance with life, in the good times and the bad. It&#8217;s a reminder to be present within all the possibilities. If you&#8217;re going to be in a body and be alive, then live to the max. Play this game. Take it on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 27<\/strong> \u2013 Nourishment \u2013 Breaking with the old ways and implementing the new.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 28<\/strong> \u2013 The Game Player \u2013 Embracing life\u2019s challenges with courage, tenacity, and celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 41<\/strong> \u2013 Imagination \u2013 Living within limited resources opens the door for imagination and possibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 31<\/strong> \u2013 Influence \u2013 Interrelating and leading others through expressing your natural influence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">On Unconscious side, we have the Sun in Gate 41, the Gateway of \u201cImagination\u201d. It\u2019s also known as \u201cDecrease\u201d, because it is in moments of decrease, depletion, or limitation that imagination is at its most powerful. It has the power to lift us out of the depths and help us to envision something new, something inspiring. On the Earth side we have Gate 31, the Gateway of \u201cInfluence\u201d or \u201cLeadership\u201d. Gate 31 has the ability to logically express what we&#8217;re going to do next, what&#8217;s really worth doing, and how we\u2019re going to do it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">So,\u200athese four Gateways come together here to rearranging things, to go about things in a different way, while nourishing ourselves, using our imagination, having more fun in life, and being very direct about it all. And what I always say about people with this Life Theme is that they\u2019re the lightning rods. They attract unusual experiences and situations. And wherever they go, they bring that energy with them. The fourth line always wants to make sure that we\u2019re all in this together, that everyone is on board. So, it makes sense that \u201cnourishment\u201d becomes \u201ccaring\u201d here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 27<\/strong> \u2013 Innovating \u2013 Breaking with the old ways and implementing the new.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 28<\/strong> \u2013 The Game Player \u2013 Embracing life\u2019s challenges with courage, tenacity, and celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 19 <\/strong>\u2013 Approach \u2013 Reaching out to find what we need for life to connect us all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Gate 33 <\/strong>\u2013 Retreat \u2013 Recharging and assimilating life experiences by withdrawing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">At the same time, the Unconscious Sun has moved into the 19th Gateway, which we call \u201cApproach\u201d. It&#8217;s one of the movement Gates. It moves outward to find out what people need. What are people looking for? How do people get to find fulfillment in life?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">People feel lost. They feel separated. And we&#8217;re looking for unity. We&#8217;re looking for reconnection. And Gate 19 is looking at how to guide people toward that connection. So, the whole energy has shifted here a bit. It\u2019s gone from finding ways to nourish ourselves and find the joy and the possibilities in life, and it\u2019s shifted into the shared pursuit of getting everyone pulling together to find unity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The Interpersonal Life Theme: Alignment<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-356566\" src=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27I.jpg\" alt=\"Human Design Life Themes - Gate 27\" width=\"400\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27I.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27I-768x829.jpg 768w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27I-1422x1536.jpg 1422w, https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/27I-285x308.jpg 285w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The Sun then moves into the fifth and sixth lines of Gates 27 and 28, and we find ourselves in the Interpersonal Life Theme of \u201cAlignment\u201d. \u200aThis is where things can come together and people can be made to feel that they&#8217;re connected. They can get the sense that they are finally rejoining with whatever it is they felt separated them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">So, people with this particular Life Theme have the ability to draw people together and get them on the same track. They inspire people to feel empowered in their lives again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Again, we have the Sun in Gate 27 and the Earth in Gate 28 with the fifth and sixth lines. And fifth and sixth lines have the ability to be leaders, mentors, and guides. Again, we have the Sun in Gate 27 and the Earth in Gate 28 with the fifth and sixth lines. And fifth and sixth lines have the ability to be leaders, mentors, and guides. So, when the Sun is Nourishing in Gate 27, and the Earth is the Game Player in Gate 28, and they are in the fifth and sixth lines, they essentially have the potential to become leaders of the dance of life. There\u2019s the potential for a great deal of caring and celebration here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Other notable people with this Life Theme:<\/strong> Channing Tatum, Jenna-Louise Coleman, Ulysses S. Grant, Coretta Scott King<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">That\u2019s the essence of the Life Themes associated with the 27<sup>th<\/sup> Gateway.
