Now, we move on into Gateway 60, the Gateway of \u201cLimitation\u201d. What are our limitations?\u00a0 Consider what it means to be in a body. This body that takes us through life. We have to feed it, we have to house it, we have to clothe it. We have to pay the bills so that we\u2019re able to do all these things. Which means we have to train our bodies\/minds in one way or another and we have to be able to transport ourselves.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">If any of these things are out of balance, or these needs are not met, we come into a limitation. We&#8217;re limited when we can&#8217;t go anywhere or we&#8217;re not eating properly, or just generally not nourishing ourselves in life. However, the moment we take care of these basic foundational needs, all kinds of different possibilities can take place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/72DO8YoTzr4?si=qX-zVphn2byzRqli\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">With that in mind, let\u2019s have a look at the Human Design Life Themes associated with Gateway 60:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>The Personal Life Theme: The Laws<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-345359\" src=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Gate-60-The-Personal-Life-Theme-of-The-Laws-e1768597579294.png\" alt=\"Gate 60 - The Personal Life Theme of The Laws\" width=\"275\" height=\"181\" \/>With the Conscious Sun in Gate 60, we find ourselves in the Personal Life Theme of \u201cThe Laws\u201d. Do the laws or rules of life serve us or not? If not, there\u2019s room for change. \u200a<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The Conscious Earth is in Gate 56, \u201cthe Wanderer\u201d. It&#8217;s the Gateway that explores life. It wants to find out all about life\u2014what&#8217;s possible? what are the great experiences to be had? It&#8217;s in the Throat Center, so it&#8217;s very involved with the voice and storytelling. I always tease people who have Gate 56 in their charts that they could make an epic out of a trip to the grocery store. Literally any mundane aspect of their lives could be made into a great adventure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">So, we see that right away there is this interesting dynamic between Gate 60, with its emphasis on limitations, and Gate 56, which is called to expand, explore, and find the adventure in life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 60<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Limitations \u2013 Accepting restrictions allows for the possibility of flow and transcendence.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 56<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 The Wanderer \u2013 The movement and views of the inner world are reflected by those of the outer world.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 50<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Values \u2013 Honoring the wisdom and values that enrich both the local community and society at large.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Innovation \u2013 Breaking with the old ways and implementing the new.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">On the Unconscious side, the Sun has moved into the 50th Gateway, the Gateway of \u201cValues\u201d, specifically values that sustain wellbeing for the community. At the same time, the Unconscious Earth has gone into Gateway 3, the Gate of \u201cInnovation\u201d. \u200aGate 3 is in the Individual Circuitry, and with Gate 60, makes up this Channel we call \u201cMutation\u201d. So naturally, anyone with this Life Theme is experiencing a mutative lifetime. Their life is not following a straight line. They go through jumps, they make changes, they do things differently. Their lives are essentially a process of getting through any kind of a limitation and launching into some kind of innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">So, people with this Life Theme can be a hard act to follow because they&#8217;re always making jumps. They&#8217;re not necessarily going to take you where you&#8217;re expecting them to go. This means they often find that people tend to disappear out of their lives because they simply can&#8217;t keep up. It can be strange to see so many people fade in and out of your life, but it\u2019s the nature of this particular Life Theme, which is always in the process of changing things for the needs of the moment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Notable people with this Life Theme:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Muhammad Ali, Kevin Costner, Michelle Obama, Dolly Parton<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>The Fixed Life Theme: Restriction<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-345363\" src=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Gate-60-The-Fixed-Life-Theme-of-Restriction-e1768597658715.png\" alt=\"Gate 60 - The Fixed Life Theme of Restriction\" width=\"275\" height=\"187\" \/>The Sun moves on into the fourth line of Gate 60 and we enter into the Fixed Life Theme of \u201cRestriction\u201d. This is an interesting one because it includes this transition from Capricorn into Aquarius. So, we see this huge shift here where the\u200afourth line has the potential to break out of any sense of limitation. In fact, it can use a limitation as a springboard to launch into great opportunities and experiences in life. And we call it the Fixed Life Theme of \u201cRestriction\u201d because until one is ready to use that springboard and make that big jump, we remain stuck.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 60<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Limitations \u2013 Accepting restrictions allows for the possibility of flow and transcendence.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 56<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 The Wanderer \u2013 The movement and views of the inner world are reflected by those of the outer world.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 28<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 The Game Player \u2013 Embracing life\u2019s challenges with courage, tenacity, and celebration.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Gate 27<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Nourishment \u2013 Nourishment comes in a multitude of forms to meet physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Unconscious Sun has moved into Gateway 28, which is the Gateway known as \u201cThe Game Player\u201d. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And what\u2019s the game? Life itself. Anything can happen in this life at any time and Gateway 28 reminds us to play the game while we can. On the other side, we have the Unconscious Earth in Gate 27, the Gateway of \u201cNourishment\u201d. \u200aSo, people with this Life Theme are always looking for the breakthrough point. How do we turn something awkward, something difficult, into something that&#8217;s innovative and different and expansive, something that takes us into a whole different experience of life?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>The Interpersonal Life Theme: Distraction<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-345367\" src=\"https:\/\/evolutionaryhumandesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Gate-60-The-Interpersonal-Life-Theme-of-Disctraction-e1768597754809.png\" alt=\"Gate 60 - The Interpersonal Life Theme of Disctraction\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/>The Sun then moves into the fifth and sixth lines of Gate 60, and we find ourselves in the Interpersonal Life Theme of \u201cDistraction\u201d. \u200aAnd by the time we get to the fifth and sixth lines of the 60th Gateway, we\u2019re saying \u201cLimitation? What limitation?\u201d No matter what it is that\u2019s ostensibly holding us back, we can maneuver it. We can conceptualize something else. We can do something very different.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The same is true with Gate 56, which is always looking for what it is that\u2019s worth chasing after, always looking for the real stimulation and the great stories in life. Again, we have the Unconscious Sun in Gate 28, \u201cThe Game Player\u201d, the celebration of this incredible dance we\u2019re all here to experience. And the Unconscious Earth in Gate 27, the Gateway of \u201cNourishment\u201d. How do we nourish ourselves? It\u2019s not just a matter of eating nutritious foods. It\u2019s a matter of our environment, the clothes we wear, the things we read, movies we watch, all the many things we take in that can enrich and deepen our experience in so many ways. So, this Life Theme asks us to get ourselves really jazzed up in life, to get out of the mundane and into something superb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><b>Notable people with this Life Theme:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Christian Dior, Geena Davis, Grigori Rasputin, Linda Blair<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s the essence of the Life Themes associated with the 60<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">st<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Gateway.
